Lana escapes! Yay! And gets Thredson killed! Police! Excitement! Exposure! A kept child. Finally this thread comes to end, it really lost its strength some time ago and Lana was becoming less and less interesting. Thredson was an interesting character and in truth it would have been fun to see him go on an on, cultivating Lana body until the baby was born. That would have been fun and gross and insane. One good thing from all this, the Asylum is exposed and the reign of the Sisters is over, not that this is for the better.
As a result Kit and Grace head home. They are free, released to enjoy their love and children. It’s like we are about to witness the birth of the X-men. Here they come the new mutants, out to change the world. And we are really excited for once about this. That is until, well, Kit’s dead/kidnapped wife Alma shows up. Talk about uncomfortable. Actually it’s the hippy generation, they were into that. Lucky Kit.
Sister Jude is officially a mess of a character and it’s the fault of the writing. Jessica Lange is phenomenal. She is. But this character has just lost it. Same the with series to some degree, it’s like they don’t know what to do with it. Started strong and the lost its steam.
We’ll see what happens in the next 2 episodes. Lana’s a done deal, Kit’s got some loose ends and we wonder if Sister Jude will get out of this.
