The Lords of Salem

There’s a part of me that loves everything Rob Zombie does. My introduction to Rob was via White Zombies’ successful La Sexorcisto: Devil Music album from 1993, one that I can pop in at any time and enjoy. The follow up Astro Creep: 2000 is just as enjoyable. But there is more to Rob than his music and smoking hot wife; he’s a huge pop culture auteur, specifically with horror! In the 2000′s he started working actively on horror films, debuting as director of 2003′s House of 1000 Corpses. A strange tale indeed. In the followup The Devil’s Rejects Rob starts to get a feel for the camera and being a director and delivers a decent film.

In 2007 and 2009 he tackled one of the all time great horror movies by remaking/retelling John Carpenter’s Halloween.

Now he’s back with The Lords of Salem. Finished in 2012 this movie will now get wide release. Check out the trailer below
